View Full Version : $ev listed as $0.00 for lots of sngs

I recently re-imported my database and everything appears to be working fine; hands are importing correctly, results are being displayed correctly, etc. However, FTP has the habit of creating erroneous summaries from time to time, which causes HEM to show incorrect data. This is by no means HEM's fault, but I do have to go in and manually fix it. While fixing one of these errors today, I noticed that I had a lot of sngs with my $ev listed as $0.00. After checking, this number is incorrect for many of these games. I do not know why the $ev would be wrong if I have what appears to be all the hands from that tournament imported. Any ideas?

Is this for the results you edited manually?
The EV is not recalculated after editing.

No, sorry if I was confusing there. These sngs were simply imported by me, not edited in any way.

Here is another example of a tournament which I did not edit at all, just simply imported. As you can see, I only survived for 6 hands (all of which are visible in the screen shot). I got the money in on the turn with 2 pair vs a straight and lost. It was a $7+.50 sng, any my $ev diff is $1.28, yet it shows up on the upper portion of the data view screen as $0.00

I would be happy to send the hands, and I plan to. However, the most important thing for me is identifying every tournament which is showing incorrect EV values. HEM gives me the option to export the lower half of the "Data View" screen to a CSV file, but the upper portion of Data View does not have this option.

I have put multiple requests into the suggestion forum in the past year for HEM to add the option to export the data view screen to an excel file in the same way it does with the results screen and lower data view screen. Identifying the incorrect tournaments would be much easier if I could do this. Is there any way to export the upper portion of the data view screen?

Yeah select all the hands, right click and export summaries, when you reimport the summaries it will update all your results again

That doesn't bring anything to a CSV file. All that does it create a text document with compressed results and summaries. You can't manipulate the data like you can in an Excel file. I've begged for this option in the suggestions forum on more than one occasion because of how useful it can be. I have no idea why it hasn't been built into the program considering almost every other section in HEM has the "save as CSV" option available.

Regarding the "export tournament results and summaries" option, I did that with the 3k sngs that I identified as incorrect. I tried importing them into a new database and the actual results were again correct but the red line was 100% wrong (to the tune of 50% expected ROI over 3,300 STTs). When you export tournament results and summaries, it doesn't export any hands, so this is not an option.
