Hi,
I have imported a hand database.
Can I find out if all the hands were imported properly ?
Is there a report I can run on how many hands there are ?
Cheers

I'm not sure this is the best answer possible, but here goes anyway :)

The first query in this FAQ gives you total # of hands in a database:-
FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Check Total Amount of Hands in Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/115/Check+Total+Amount+of+Hands+in+Database+)
but it includes the # of hands that were in the database before you started

There are 2 other queries mentioned at the bottom which may be better for you

Great thanks for that ....
I voted.
I think HM should have the number of hands in the database displayed on the import page at all times .. or at least with the press of a button.

Your idea - makes good sense
I think you should post the idea in the suggestion forum (make sure to create a poll)

So I am lost....this is the only way to tell how many hands you have in your DB? There is no function inside the application that does this?

Also, how do I tell total number of hands for specifically me?

###
1] That's right
2] You can see how many cash hands you've played easily in HM
3] I'm not so confident about tourney hands because I don't know my way around the tourney tab

You could use the other query in the link I supplied (at the bottom) to figure out total number of datamined hands & that subtracted from the query result for total hands would give you the answer you're looking for
