This is probably not a bug, but I still need help...

I reinstalled Windows XP, then installed HM2. In the beginning it required .NET Framework 4. To install that I needed Windows Installer 3.1. Got that. Then it required something called WIC. Got that too.

Now, when HM2 opens, I get following window:

TableScannerDIILoader.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error

Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application.

Now I have no idea what to do... HM2 opens, but does not import any hands.

Update:

fllowed some links here in forums, uninstalled framework. Installed 3.5, then tried to install 4.0 but unsuccesfully. Log file:

Update XP to Service Pack 3.
Reboot.

Run a manual Windows Update, install every vc++ and .net framework update.
Reboot.
Run a manual Windows Update, install every vc++ and .net framework update.
Reboot
(repeat this process, until ALL updates are installed)
