I've just installed win 7 pro and now I'm having issues with my hem hud, essentially everytime the hud refreshes my stats move and clump up, and despite trying a ton of combo's the font and look of the thing is typically too big, I run the same setup on my win 7 home laptop and have been using the setup on my desktop with xp pro without problems.

Could someone please help me figure this out, I've tried locking stats and things like that but nothing has worked so far, I can go on TV5 with someone if that'll help.

Much appreciated.

OK. What site or sites do you play ? It's to do with preferred seating most likely & each site has different ways of handling (or not handling) seating

Also what version of HM are you using (check title bar of your HM) ? I ask because you mention HUD size & fonts... there's a bug in 1.11.x versions that may be causing you problems with saving changes to the HUD appearance (but this will not prevent you solving your main problem). This bug will be patched soon

Thanks, I'm on stars and I'm using a fresh install of version 1.11.02b.

I haven't had problems with preffered seating before, both stars and hem are set to the same seating, and the stats are generally next to each player, but rather then my panels being layed out as I set them up, after each hand, the panels collapse so there all next to each other and shift to one side of the player name rather then around it as I desire.

I think you already know this:
FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Multiple Panels Don't Move Individually (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/57/Multiple+Panels+Don%27t+Move+Individually+)

###
My best guess :)

Set out your panels when the HUD has 'rotated' correctly (one table open only)

& then save the positions as per the example below - using 'file' > 'save positions' in the Table Manage menu bar :

Does that work ?

.

Go to File / Save Positions. This save the co-ordinates of the panel to the config file so that Holdem Manager will remember where to put the file panels next time it loads

I don't appear to have a save positions option, or a table manage menu bar?

can someone come on TV and help me set this up?

IMO You don't need TV help, because it's a simple fix once you've figured out where 'Table Manager' is...

If you've got a HUD then you've got table manager:
FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Table Manager (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/67/Table+Manager)
It's the dialog that pops up when you start auto-import & it's also the HM logo in your system tray (in your taskbar)

So whats changed between the xp and the 7 install, cause I've never done that step before and its worked without issue?

It's a bug in recent HM versions & this is the temporary fix until a patch is released:

...'file' > 'save positions' in the Table Manager menu bar...

Not harsh at all. Glad for you it's sorted :)

Also why not do some voting if you agree with my suggestions (see my signature below VV )
