When i´m importing from ongame, it seams like there are a lot of hands missing, I recently started playing there and the results in HM is not what it should be.

Please try the latest version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.04beta.exe which improves Ongame support

Which version of the beta theres 13 betas?

In the next Beta Roy is also releasing a change where ongame will only import every 15 secs instead of 5 secs because Ongames database is not meant for multi use and what happens is occassionally HM and Ongame are trying to use it at the same time and it cant write the full HH and it causes HM to miss it. Roys made many improvements to lessen this chance and this next beta will reduce it further but because Ongame use a database thats not multi user friendly it still might miss the very odd occassional hand

If you experience this problem then close down HM and your ongame client and do the following:

1) rename the ongame DB to something else so that the ongame client recreates a new one. A smaller DB will have less of these problems
2) Open holdemmanager.config and look for OngameDBDelay. Change the value from 15 to say 30 or 60. The longer you set this the less frequently HM will try to import hands. That # is the number of seconds.

The problem is that when ongame is writing hand info to the DB it frequently fails when another program is querying the DB. This causes corrupt hand info in the DB. What they should be doing is retrying on a failure (like Prima does for their SQLite DB) but they are not so if you play a bunch of tables then the chances of missing hands is higher since you are more likely to be reading from the DB while ongame tries to write to the DB. By setting this # much higher you make this much less likely.

all I could find that seems related is this

setting name="AutoImportTimerDuration">60</setting

I changed this to 60. is this correct?

If you dont have that setting then you need to update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.04beta.exe, change that setting in notepad and save the file. Youll find the holdemmanager.config file here: C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder

Changing that AutoImportDuration will change the import for all your sites not just Ongame

I think you should put in a "reset DB" button in the software.

The problem with missing hands were the same with PT2, so I always reset/deleted the DB as often as possible, and at least after each session. When I got over 1k hands it started missing way too much, so I always had to sit out when I got to this number and reset the DB, unless I wanted to lose a lot of hands.
