HMHud.exe suddenly just jumps from 1-2% of CPU to 50% and have caused my computer to shut down twice.
I tried to turn the firewall of, but nothing changed.
How to fix this

A spike of 50% CPU should not shut down your computer typically.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? What are your system specs? What other programs are running while you play? What site/games are you playing?

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMImport.exe, HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Do the same for any other poker related programs.

Add the same files to the exclusions in your firewall/anti-virus.
