View Full Version : HEM stuck at Initializing database after restoring database

I reinstalled windows on my pc and now i get this problem after restoring the database

I have windows 7 and UAC is off

I do get this message when I try to restore HEM with windows

Not responding, Restore, close program or wait that the program respond

You restored HM with windows? What does that mean?

Is your postgresql service running?
Can you connect via pgadminII?

You restored HM with windows? What does that mean?



I tried to close HEM when it was not responding, windows then offered me 3 choices:

Try to restore program
Close Program
Wait for the program to respond

Translation is probably not exact i got windows in french.

postgresql service is running.

Trought pgadmin I did noticed that database encoding is win1252
Anyway I had saved all hand histories ans started importing them in a new database so unless you got a simple and faster solution, it will be fine ;)

Yeah that sounds like the best plan since it looks like the old one maybe corrupt
