View Full Version : Question about HEM tracking rake paid...

Is the rake paid section in the cash sessions tab 100% accurate? Or is there a chance of it being recorded incorrectly?

Just curious as I am a backed player, and I use HEM to split my rakeback up between my cash play and my tournament play (I'm backed separately for cash/tournaments)...

Also I'm curious on what time zone HEM is set up for? Because I've been thinking that if HEM isn't using the same timezone as RakeBackPros, then there's a chance when I set it for 06/01-06/07 it could actually be showing me stats for half way through the day on 06/01 until halfway through the day on 06/08.

Hope that makes sense, as it's a little hard to explain...

Edit - I just realized I'm dumb and I can easily figure out what time zone it's set to, so just ignore this post...

The rake is calculated for every site with the method they use.
An additional badbeat jackpost rake or sth. like that is ignored.
Until we hear no users complaining about wrong rake calculations we think its accurate.
For changing our calculation method for a site we need an official statement from the site how rake is calculated.

I noticed the same thing. There are differences between winnings in PT3 and HEM. So I looked into it a little.

I found a hand where there is a discrepancy in winnings through both PT3 and HEM. It is a hand where I won $5.25 but PT3 says I won only $3.25 and HEM says I lost $2.00.

PT3 Hand History:

Seat 2: mrtwistertx ($41)
Seat 3: BeMySushi ($18.50)
Seat 4: Chodirt-eh ($54.25)
Seat 5: KahueRozzi ($29)
Hero posts the small blind of $0.50
mrtwistertx posts the big blind of $1
The button is in seat #5

The hand history in HEM is inaccurate. BUT the hand replayer in both HEM and PT3 are accurate. I'm stumped.

Also, it would be good to see a "Rake Paid" stat, meaning the amount of rake skimmed off of the pots won, because many times this is different than how each site calculates the rake.

Hi,

That is a known issue that cropped up recently, think it was due to a small change in the hand history but we should have it fixed in the next version

I downloaded 1.11.02b and there are still some winnings errors like the one above.

that b version was a rushed release to fix an urgent UB hand history problem for the whole network, because it was rushed some fixes had to be rolled back so well have it in the next version
