Anyone else having problems starting HEM this morning (11:42 AM PDT)? Worked fine yesterday. I didn't change anything or upgrade in between. I get a variety of connection errors with the activation server, like this:

Suddenly my HEM is not registered anymore and trying to register it again with the serial number does not help, it appears like the server can not be reached indeed....

Strange though, i would think HEM should also be able to run without an internet connection.... so why would an unreachable server be a problem.... confused here.... Will send an email to support as the software suggests.

Me to. It won't let me reset my license either from the registration site.

Same. I've always wondered why we have to validate every time we use it and this throws up a flaw in the system.

have my hm for bout 2years now and now asking me to register!
also my guess is something wrong with their server!

Mine opens as the "Trial version" and if I try to register says it was unable to find a valid license, but when I sign on the the registration page, resetting the code does not work, and it lists PC# as 0

yes same problem, I started HM and it is the trial version. and I cant login with my serial/user. any support please.

What OS is everyone using? I'm on XP and using the most current release 1.11.01b tried reinstalling the latest version and followed the directions for fixing licensing problems on the FAQ (deleting some program files and re-installing) with no success. Seems like this is a problem on HEM's end.

Same problem here.

Using Windows XP at the lastest beta, tried to reinstall and all stuff and nothing.

I guess it messed up my sunday session :mad:

Two or three of you should also follow the instructions on the bottom of the final screen (after you cancel all the other dialogs) and find your reg.log in your Logs folder and email it to support@holdemmanager.com like I did. A few reports will probably help them diagnose the problem.

I'm getting the same errors..

There was just a series of windows updates, so maybe it has something to do with those?

Hope it'll be fixed fast :S

Also using HM on Windows Xp 1.10.01 version. also sended to support@holdemmanager.com my logs folder and the link to this forum. My friend runs it in Vista and it works fine on his computer btw.

Yes, did this about 30 min ago. Sounds like we're all getting the same errors.

Sorry for the inconvenience with the registration server, it looks to be fixed though.

FYI - HM doesn't connect to the license server each time you open it. Now that your HM is working again, pull your network connection and open it again. You'll see you have 100% access to the program, even if you reboot and open HM with no network connection.
