Hi

My postgres-database is running on a server and i'm accessing the data with Holdem Manager over TCP/IP. Now my server crashed, but the database was fine ...
My Problem now is that i can't recover the data from the crashed server to my working PC.
Holdem Manager works fine with a new created database but when i overwrite the data-folder with the data from my server the postgres-service won't start!?!
i get following error msg: Can't Connect / Failed to Start PostgreSQL

I am running Windows 7 on my working pc - my server was a windows 2003 server.

do you have an idea what i could do?

best regards
Heli

You need to copy the data folder before you install postgresql and you must install the same postgresql version as on the server.
