View Full Version : No HUD on Pacific

Hi,

I'm experiencing trouble with my HUD on Pacific Poker. Ever since the site renewed it's lay-out/style the HUD doesn't pop up. The Table manager does find the tables I'm playing on, but the HUD doesn't show. I have installed the latest update.

Are you using the latest pacific client in english? They have no update check, so you should download and install the client again.


* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

I have the same problem. The software (Luckyace) has been updated and the hud doesn´t work. :confused:

I solved my problem, seems that in the new layout Pacific automatically disabled the 'Save Handhistory' box in my settings. Just enable it again and you're good to go (I hope ;))

HI,

I'm having the same problem. Just started today. No HUD. Was working fine yesterday.

Files are being created and hands processed. I went through the steps in the FAQ and when I used table finder, the HUD appears for that table.

Other tables are listed in table manager but stats are all zero.

What's my next step to get HUD working without using table finder?

Using lastest pacific poker and HEM (both updated today since reading FAQ).

Same here.
Hands are importing fine but no HUD. (or sometimes HUD on 1 random table out of 12)
I didn't update anything - I'm still on version 5.7.
HEM version 1.10

Same problem for me since this morning. I can use Table Finder to get the HUD up but that's kind of annoying to have to do. I don't know if it is relevant but I noticed that all my tables are called Jackpot New Type in todays sessions hand histories, as in:

Table Pescara ( Jackpot New type ) (Real Money)

I am playing at LuckyAce with the latest version of HM and some older version of the LuckyAce software. And none of the tables were actually jackpot tables btw.

The hud is displayed only on a very few tables.

Same problem here after updating. I'm using latest pacific client, latest update of HEM and windows 7. All the hands are imported to my database, but the HUD is not working.

yeah it works, but would be nice to play without using it.

The reason it wasnt working was due to a handgrabber problem, HM no longer requires the hand grabber so if you set it up without the hand grabber then it should work fine for HM automatically FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Pacific Poker Setup (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/12/Pacific+Poker+Setup)

I believe this is true for HEM to work when you play, however if you want to datamine when you are not playing your self you still need Pacific Hand Grabber right?

And it would be nice to have HUD while datamining.
Dunno if it's HEM or grabber itself why it isn't working now.

Agreed. I get HUD on the first table I open when I datamine now, but not on any of the others.

Just to clarify, if your using just HM to import the hands then there isnt a problem and the hud will work fine as ive done 2 teamviewer sessions with people and the handgrabber wouldnt work but HM worked fine, the problem seems to be with the handgrabber so please contact their support

I suppose that during those 2 teamviewer session one of you guys were actually playing? You weren`t randomly railing some tables on 888? In that case the combination HM/888 will work, like we have already stated here.

The problem is for DATAMINING hands when you are not playing your self. This used to work perfectly with the previous version of handgrabber/888 software, and has never worked with the sole combination of HM/888.

I don`t think the 888 software has a feature that writes hand histories and saves them if you are not present at the table your self.

If I`m wrong here, I would be both sorry and very happy, so please prove me wrong.

Datamining is not something we support. If it works on a site you are just lucky.

We made some pacific changes in 1.11.02 so please try this version but if it doesn't work you should really contact idleminer to write the hands in a way HM can import them.

same problem , HUD run very good on cash game888poker , and if i ll wanna play SNG then HUD doesn't work , table manager "cannot find hand attachement.....

Please zip and mail the original handhistory files (you find them in the HM archive folder or in the handhistory folder of your poker client) together with a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.net. We will then try to reproduce the problem.

1.11.01b works fine with new pacific software. Importing hands and hud work with table finder.

Are you using the latest version of the pacific client?

Are you using the native Pacific handhistory function or the idleminer?

Yes, i use the latest version of the pacific client.
I don't know what it is idleminer, and I knew about tablefinder!

HUD crashes when playing on 888 jackpot tables, how can i troubleshoot to determine the reason?

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Make sure the lobby language is in English.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off.
