Hi there,

I have a PC and a laptop. The PC runs XP and the laptop runs Vista. I have installed HEM on the PC and am running the trial with no problem. (Very impressed.) However I cannot run on my laptop as I can't get postgresql to install. I keep getting an error message saying The User Account already exists.

I have googled the problem but either don't understand or cant do the fixes that are suggested. I have wasted a fair bit of time on this now. Can someone explain or point me in the direction of a simple solution to this. Surely it shouldn't be this hard. (I have UAC turned off.)

Thanks for any help.

Uninstall PostgreSQL and then use holdemmanager as the username and pasword for both times it requests it please.

If you dont have any other PostgreSQL databases which i presume you dont since your only installing it then also delete the PostgreSQL folder in C:\Program Files after you uninstall PostgreSQL via the control Panel

Cheers morny!

That has worked a treat. I don't understand why but it has. Cheers for taking the time.
