View Full Version : Launch HUD => CPU 50%

Hi, when i launch HUD my CPU work to 50% or more. The main process that is crashing my CPU is "mainclient.exe" (Absolute Poker). I can do anything in my PC when it happens, all go very slow, dont open a windows, change focus of the windows get 3/4 seconds etc ...

I opaccity is disableb, Force Ontop is enableb, Enable Logging is enable ...

¿what can i do?

Which HM version?
Disable live tracking, prefetch under site options.
And disable the logging for performance.

My version is 1.11.01 and i use to play in absolute poker and full tilt.

Live tracking i and logging are disabled. It happen when i launch HUD, if i stop HUD, the CPU is OK and the go well , but when i relaunch HUD the mainclient.exe (absolute poker) came to reach 60-90 % of the CPU.

Please disable the prefetch too and attach your file config\holdemmanager.config.

Absolute Poker does not have prefetch player data.

But FTP has, please disable prefetch and live-tracking for FTP and try again.

I'm not sure whether you use 1.11.01 or 1.11.01a, please check it in the title bar. If its 1.11.01 please update to 1.11.01a.

And please check your AP handhistory folder. It must be empty except current hands.

I use 1.11.01b (today i update) but the problem go on. Besides, now windows stop HUD every ten minutes, he says me that HUD stop to work.

My looked handhistory folder and it has only current hands.

Hi, please try anything below that you havent already and see if it helps

Can you make sure your Opacity slider in Hud options > Player Preferences> Appearance TAB is 100% to the right and also do the same for the mucked cards Opacity

Also keep task manager running and have it sort by CPU in the Processes TAB and see what is using the most CPU when the lagging happens.

Try disabling as many programs as possible such as AHK scripts,Firewall, limewire,Mikogo etc and Antiviruses and if they cant be disabled make sure you add all these programs to the exceptions list such as HMhud.exe,DBcontrol panel.exe and holdemmanager.exe from the Holdem Manager folder aswell as any of the other programs that happen to be running, sometimes for example the antivirus/firewall etc scan every file thats been processed and it can slow things down so running with as few programs as possible.

Also going to control panel > Admin Tools > Event Viewer and copy and paste any description if there are any error or information events that coincide with the time of the lagging.

Go to Hud Options > Site Options and disable all the prefetch/track live hands options

Lastly make sure your graphics driver is up to date as this can make a big difference to lagging even with a brand new PC.

Now HM doesnt import the hands ... i think this problem is the same that :

Weve just released a new version 1.11.02, Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe and let me know if the problem persists
