For some reason when I hooked up the auto import folders it wouldn't retrieve any of the hands. The hands are being saved. The HUD is showing at the table but doesn't have any information because no hands are being collected. It shows that it imports 1 folder, but for every hand theres an error. Every time I get the folders to import I get an error for every hand trying to import. ...

* Please try updating to the latest version 1.11.0 from the link in my signature.

* Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure that holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

1. I am using version 1.10.01.
2. I am trying to use it on UB. It works fine on FT and PS.
3. I am playing PLO cash.
4. Yes I have clicked the auto import button. It starts to import files with hands but then says "error"
5. Hands are UB are being saved.
9. Table finder works.
10. HH are in eng.

Theres a UB fix in 1.10.01a so please update to that version, if the problem persists can you create a new database FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database) and try reimporting the hands into that database and see if it fixes the issue

i created a new db and it fixed the problem. Do i have to import the archive to get my older hands or is there a easier way?

You need to import the hands again.

In the future you should do database backups regularly.

i imported my 2010 hands from the archive but over 90% are missing even though they're in the folder. over half the hands imported said duplicates. Can i export the hands from the older db and then import them or just scan the archive?

Yeah you can export the hands from the older database if the archive isnt picking them all up then import them into the new one
