Can somebody point me in the right direction please? I've read the "General Hand Analysis Questions" in the FAQs so please don't send me back to there

First, I'm using the 30 day trial version but I don't seem to be able to get the "TOURNAMENT VIEW" whereby you can look at each hand in a tournament. All I can seem to get is the GAME VIEW. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, I'd like to get a better idea exactly:

1 - how the "trees" work in Wiz when a hand is analyzed; is there a worked example anywhere? (a vid would be great)
2 - How is the "EDGE" calculated? (again please don't refer me back to the website as the "answer" there completely fails to answer the question)

A video would be great, but any decent explanation will do. Please !

The tournament view is only available in the stand alone version. The HM hands view replaces it in the integrated version.

You can download the stand along veision here (http://www.sngwiz.com/tiki/Download). It has a tutorial that explains how the analysis details works.

You can also view some tutorial videos here (http://www.sngwiz.com/tiki/Video%2BTutorials).

The edge calculation is explained in the Wizard's help.

Thanks for the info about the tournament view and the tutorials. But with the greatest respect to your comment "The edge calculation is explained in the Wizard's help", that's just not true. I challenge any person to read that explanation and successfully explain it to another person. That's why I asked please don't refer me to the "help" in the original post. "Help" is a bit of a misnomer. I'll check out the tutorials and try 2 plus 2 but if anyone reading this wants to have a crack at explaining what "EDGE" means and how it is calculated, I would be eternally grateful.

Did you read the "Default Edge" topic in the "Reference" section of the help? I don't think I can explain it any better than that.

It's just a table of values based on position and effective stack size. I will be happy to answer any specific questions.

Sorry no I didn't. What I read (the bad explanation) was from the FAQs at SitNGo Wizard : (http://sngwiz.com/tiki/tiki-view_faq.php?faqId=3#q12)

The reference section you point me to in the help is very helpful. I see now. Like you say, it's just a table of values and it's not "computed" as such.

So thanks a lot for that
