Ive been having computer problems, and the last time i had to reboot. Table scanner went to "Classic" mode and wont allow me to go back to Insta-scan....

Classic scan make it's job directly from your PC - so there is no additional cost
Instascan service requires investments (hardware, hosting and so on)

Sounds like your InstaScan trial elapsed?

I have paid for Table Scanner AND the Insta Scan service. The trial has not expired and my card is being charged for the monthly table scan service. However, the option to choose Insta Scan is grayed out and cannot be selected. It has been like this for a week now. I have updated HEM multiple times and reset the reg code - nothing has worked. Can you please assist me?

Same problem for me...instascan is greyed out.

And for all the smart guys...I've a paid up subscription.

Same issue here.

Subscription is PAID and active yet Insta Scan is greyed out.

Edit: Fixed on restart.

I highly disagree with you...the support is AWESOME. Within 10 minutes of posting this, I had an HEM rep do a team viewer session and they fixed my issued. The issue is most likely in the reg code that you have for your Table Scanner. There are also some files that you will need to delete (so that table scanner quits attempting to use the old reg code) but I cannot remember which.

I would just add HEMSCANNER to your AIM buddy list and then IM him. He fixed it very quickly for me.

I don't wish to get into a mud flinging contest but this week the support service has been less than great...in fact to use BruxeOxner's expression..."it sucks."

Here's why...I've posted 2 messages this week and neither of them has been dealt with...not at all...ignored, I'd say.

Now...I know that these guys are off on a trip somewhere and so we'll give them the benefit of the doubt and we know that generally the service is fine...but there's no doubt about it that this week they've taken their eye off the ball...and my two problems are now making Table Scanner essentially unusable and all I wish to ask for is a fix...and a timely fix at that.

We now have a fix...

I deactivated the licence code and then re-registered and it's now OK.

Maybe other folks might like to do the same if their InstaScan is greyed out.

Looks like we got there in the end.

I subscibed for for instscan but I cannot change the scan option, because it is grayed out. I tried to clear the license codes and re-registered both (tablescanner and HM) but it did chance anything. Reseting all profiles on my account page is not possible.

please help
