View Full Version : How to import PokerStars hands that I got from support?

I had disconnection while I was all-in, so no HHs were saved. I asked support to send me them in .txt file, but when I tried to import it, I got error.

Should I chance the file name as currently it's playername.txt? Or are the hands in different format when support sends the HH (had this problem with Cake) ?

morny, I was going to create a thread but this is basically the problem I have. I play heads up SNGs, and requested all of my player history from support, they sent me a few giant text files with numerous SNGs consolidated into on .txt file. When I try to upload this to HEM something goes wrong and my winnings are incorrect (by a lot!) Will support be able to help me? I own HEM Pro FWIW

Are this files in english language?

Yes, my files I sent are in English. I zipped two of the files and sent them two nights ago, were they received?

Yes, they were received but I have been over-loaded with support sessions this past week, so some of these import issues had to sit. My mission this weekend is to dig out my inbox. :\

Your hands imported fine for me, except for the results.

Did you also ask for your tournament summaries? Did they attach them as .htm files? Could you forward those also, if you have them?

Make sure windows is fully updated and set to English (US) formatting for currency, dates, time, etc.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

*Try creating a new UTF DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database)
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: How to Import & Export Hands (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands)
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
