I was looking over some SNG results and not sure how to read the EV results given by HEM. Some of the EV results has me loosing more then my buy in?

Here's a screen shot of what I'm seeing:

Notice the second result (highlighted in yellow). It was a $20+0.90 Super Turbo 9m SNG on FullTilt and HEM says my overall EV in the tourney was -$28.21.

Am I reading this right? If so, HEM is saying I should have lost $28.21 in this $20+0.90 tourney?

Its a common question but you can actually win or lose more EV than your actual buyin and its explained in this EV video FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: EV Explained (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/120/EV+Explained)

For ring games perhaps... but I disagree when it comes to tournies.
