updated to newest version and i'm getting the error message
'This application has failed to start beacause the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

i've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and i get the same message. i have postgre installed and it is working properly. i've manually opened the folder and opened from there and i get the same message. the hud will open for a second and then close.

also tried to run as admin and i get the same message
any hints?

p.s i'm using xp

Your current XP SP & .NET is the same as earlier in this thread ?

I had a problem with a M$ update & the key I had (it was an OEM thing)
This product key tool helped me out:
Genuine Microsoft Software (http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/selfhelp/XPPkuinst.aspx)

thanks, but that didn't work.

i've been using xp w/o the sp1 update and frameworks 2.0 for the past 7 months when i purchased HEM in early september and it has always worked great. i tried to update to the latest patch a few days ago and now i can't get any version of HEM to run. i uninstalled every postgresql and hem file again and am using the postsql 8.3 that i had been using and worked perfect. i just am completly unable to any version of HEM to even open. i can click the hud icon and the white box will appear but hem itself will not. i keep getting the error messages i post earlier in this thread. =/

i'm not sure if i am installing 1.09 correctly because i cannot find a full install of it anywhere. what i am doing to install 1.09.03 is run the 1.10 full install and then run the 1.09 update somebody gave me a link to on here. should that revert it correctly?

HM requires dot net framework 3.5 to run now, downgrading to an older version that supports Microsoft .NET Framework is only going to be a very temp solution, for example full tilt and stars recently made big updates that require 1.10.06 to run properly.

You can try one of the older versions if you like however we wont be able to help with any problems that have occurred since the old version was released as you'll need to physically update to fix it so youll need to upgrade sometime soon to framework 3.5

Heres a link to 1.09 http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.09.03.exe

Have the newest update. And it had worked fine for the past couple days. Now I can't even start HM.
