Hi--
I'm trying to run the Hold'Em Mangr on a Vista Home Premium Machine. After some pesky trouble with PostgreSQL (DESPERATION! -
cf.: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/30253-not-customer-yet.html ) the blue elephant at last is running and trampling...
But now I installed the HM: while starting for the first time, I was told that 'DotNet 3.5 SP1' is expected. The Version I'v installed (4.0), HM dont like it
I tried to downgrade to 3.5 - Installation failed, because 'Version 2.0 is missing!'. Eventually I tried to set up 2.0 - Failure, this Version's not fitting for Vista... Now I returned to 4.0, cause Poker is not the only thing running on my PC - there are still some other apps needing a .NET environment.
I now think over, whether 'PokerTracker' would not be a better choice - cause a program which refuses a clean and straghtforward installation for several hours - reaaly isn't worth the penny, I think.
