Okay so long story short, used trial, it ran out, did the deal where I get HEM free, got the registration code, now I have full HEM.

So I've been playing tons of RUSH on FTP lately (play on stars too) and I went to import the hands and I get just loads of duplicate hands (how is this possible?) and over 3k hands had 'import errors'.

I have put both FTP and Pokerstars on a separate internal HDD along with HEM. I have setup the HH to be saved to this HDD as well, and HEM certainly knows they exist via manually inserting the directories.

My questions ..

1. When the hands are imported from D:\program files\pokerstars\HH\..etc where do they go after this? Like do they stay in this directory? Are they taken out of this directory and placed somewhere else? Deleted? Where are the imported hands being saved in HEM?

2. On FTP my rush HUD is always one over to the player it should be. Why is this? Aren't the seating arrangements at FTP always in seat 5? I cannot change my seat in the HEM player seat as its only possible to be at seat 5 on FTP.

3. Why do you even get dup hands? How has my pokersite created duplicate histories of the same hand if it occurred only once?

1. Usually HM moves the imported files to an archive folder 15 min. after the last access (default is c:\hmarchive). This is configured in the auto-import settings.

2. Please open one table, play at least one hand, arrange the stats with the right mouse key, table manager -> file -> save positions. From now on it should work.

3. This can happen if your auto-import archive configuration is incorrect. The archive folder must not be in the same folder structure then the handhistory files. I recommend you use the default folder c:\hmarchive.
Before you try again please make sure that the FTP handhistory folder is empty (move all files to a different folder).

Okay well firstly, I have setup the archived holdem manager hands to bet on my 2TB external. That shouldn't matter, here is how my folders are set up

As you can see the archived folder is on a different HDD, so I don't know why these errors are occurring.

Also, when i hold my cursor over the little HEM icon in my system tray, it no longer displays my session as ($..) or $..

It simply says 'Table Manager'

If your getting import errors it may be a corrupt database causing the issues, can you create a new database FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database) and reimport some hands and see how the new database runs and if the import/duplication issues re-occur
