Hello, i'm using windows xp 32 bit and had this bug that holdem manager cannot connect to 127.0.0.1 and is not able to access the database. I tried different things you offer here in your faq's. The last thing i did was a scan with a programm called "Spybot", this programm also created a huge list in my
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc hosts-file, i deleted it all and put only the 2 lines you suggest in there. I used Spybot before at least twice so the list must have been there already, what-ever it didnt work/helped. Since i'm a new player and played only low buyin tourneys, i uninstalled everything and deleted the left-over stuff in my folders (HM+Postgre), restarted the comp and installed HM again and everything works now fine again. My question is what caused this failure to happen, i want to be prepared when HM fails again just in case i have a more important database i want to keep. Forgive any bad english language mistakes, i'm from germany.
Thank you in advance.
