had some problems with table scanner recently: win 7, 1.10.04b and would get a lot of crashes. i'd then have to manually kill the importer and hud, then reboot HEM.

just updated, now i'm getting actual pop-up error messages. what gives????

Sorry, that's a known bug that we will fix with the next scanner update.

how often do you guys do updates for the scanner?

A fix should be released within the next 24 hours.

I'm fully pissed, but I'm going to do my best to be rational. I'm sure it's increasingly difficult given the complexity of the tool, I really expect more of you guys. Having a 24 hour turnaround for bugs is okay, but releasing software which is so buggy in the first place is unacceptable. Mark these updates as betas, at the very least, instead of full releases. Thanks.

Sorry for any trouble caused to you.
We give our best to test the software internally before we release it,
but due to the complexity and numerous combinations of possible actions it's very hard to catch every problem.

Please give it a try with 1.10.06a:

Everything seems to be working now -- thank you.

Edit: scratch that. Though those popups are gone, I'm still getting crashing. Is there a crashlog I can send to find the root cause?

Also, this seems to happen when I have Scan Every X Minutes enabled.

That's an interesting hint.

What poker room(s) do you scan every x minutes? (InstaScan or Classic)?

It crashes right at the beginning of the scan?
Or somewhere in between?
Or is the scanner idle?

I'm scanning Stars via Classic. For whatever reason, this bug won't repeat when I try to do it intentionally. :P

Usually it crashes right at the beginning of the scan.

Does it probably happen when the Stars lobby is minimized and you try run a scan?

"options->advanced multi table options->minimize main lobby when opening tables" is unchecked in PokerStars?

option was unchecked......i'm minimizing the lobby and running scan....no crashing occurs.

i should also mention that prior to Quick Scan being released, the lobby wouldn't actually scroll -- it would just pick up tables.

still waiting for an update on this as this is STILL an issue for me.

i just tried to run table scanner again after booting up.

1. open stars, log in
2. sit at tables
3. start auto import
4. go to TS tab, i didn't click the scan button, but instead clicked on the Scan Tables every X option under auto scan....this caused a crash

- Do you use the "classic" or "black" PokerStars lobby theme?
Have you tried to switch that?

- Does it always crash now when you run "Scan Tables every X minutes",
or only sometimes?

- No detailed error message appears?

1. usually i use black, but tried classic and that got crashes as well.

2. only sometimes. when i'm starting new sessions, if it doesn't crash initially, it'll nearly always be fine for the rest of the session. if it crashes, it will usually crash again even after i kill all processes and restart HEM.

3. nothing. i get the opaque screen and the windows popup box. is there a crashlog i can send....?
