I just added a heads Up HUD configration on my HM. Now my HM isn't importing hands under any of my HUD player preference configurations.

What is going on?

thats not clear - you are getting no hud ? or no hands are importing ?

or you are getting the wrong hud ?

it might be you have the wrong settings in the 'use for' tab & hm is using a different or the default config hud

what site, what game(s), what OS ? HM version ? anything else you can say ?

I am playing on pokerstars.

I use windows vista

I use Holdem Manager Professional 1.10.03b

The reason my hud isn't coming up is because no hands are being imported. My HM starts the importing process and looks for files, but it never finds any.

It doesn't find any files if I use auto detect.

It also won't find any files from the location it is suppose to be reading them from which is:

C:\Users\ShaneRick\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHi story + subfolders

Pokerstars sends the files to the following location:

C:\Users\ShaneRick\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHi story\

My Holdem Manager was working before, and now it isn't.

Pokerstars changed their table buyins and also created some errors in the tourney files. We are working on a fix for HEM HUD and some importing issues, but we are also waiting for pokerstars to fix the bugs in their history files.

Please close Holdem manager and extract both these files in the zip into the holdem manager directory, when it asks please choose to Overwrite and then restart HM

I did the above, and I am still not able to import hands, so My HUD isn't able to work. For the record, I am playing cash games. No files are being imported.

What do I try next?

I just updated my Holdem Manager to 1.10.04b, and I am still having the same problem.

What do I need to do? Why isn't it working?

I just checked a hand in the poker stars hand replayer and noticed that my HUD is working in the poker stars hand replayer. I have my HUD set up for the Heads UP configuration that I made up, but it is using the full ring configuration that I made up. It's also just showing up on the pokerstars hand replayer but not on my main screen. I did look and saw that hands were being imported, but I keep having to hit refresh if I want to see the most current hands.

What do I need to do to get this to work right?

After installing the latest HEM version you need to update the hmhud.exe like explained in the thread Fozzy linked above.

I did that already, and I am still having the same problem.

Now what do I need to do?

Hi,

Please email me and we can do a teamviewer session, just download teamviewer from TeamViewer - Free Remote Access and Remote Desktop Sharing over the Internet (http://www.teamviewer.com) and let me know a suitable time GMT in advance. Teamviewer allows me to access your computer to fix the problem.

When we agree a suitable time you just need to send me the ID and password that Teamviewer creates to get access to your PC

support@holdemmanager.com

Thanks
Morny

In my email I said that I am in PST(pacific standard time) which I believe is 8 hours ahead of you. I was trying for 8:00pm my time this evening on Friday which I believe is 12:00 noon your time. Just let me know if that time is OK or if you need another time.

My email is BigSlickRick@comcast.net

Thanks,

Shane

Morny is 8 hours ahead of you, not the other way around. If you guys are unable to find a suitable time you can have morny forward it to me. I am on EST, so only 3 hours ahead of you.

Please attach your prefs.xml and holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called prefs and holdemmanager. To attach them to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the files.
