View Full Version : Problem with Color Coding on Full Tilt

Not sure what to do here...

When Rush Poker first came out on Full Tilt, I downloaded the HEM update and imported the Player Stats into the Full Tilt note field. When I did this, my name-box (with name and $) was color coded Pink as well as other Rush players with Stats. Ever since I did this, I can not color code my opponents when saving notes on them. The note I type saves, but any color I choose does not show up for them. If I use a friend's computer, the color coding for my account works fine.

How can I reverse this and get things back to normal so I can start color coding again from my laptop?

I tried reinstalling Full Tilt. I tried a new HEM database. I tried updating my video drivers. I was thinking about buying a new custom theme, but not sure what that will do.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hey Morny,

I tried the uninstall and reinstall without losing preferences. I still had the pink color code on my box and was unable to color code the opponents.

I installed Revo, but it would not let me uninstall HEM. HEM was not in the list. Even the Hunter tool didnt work to find it. So I went to control panel to uninstall it there, but again HEM was not on the list of programs for me to uninstall. The version I reinstalled was the beta version from your last link.

So, what would be next? If I can find a way to uninstall HEM, maybe I can just start completely over with a new database. But, doesn't Full Tilt save the notes and color codes on my laptop? Would love to just find a way to clear my laptop and start over. Any ideas??

Thanks!

The problem you explain seems to be connected with the notes from the FTP client.

You should uninstall the FTP software again. After that please check the installation folder of FTP and the FTP folders under your user path (you should search for this) and delete all files in there.

If may be enough just to delete the ftp notes file which is named sth. like YourUserName.xml.
Close your FTP client before doing this.

well I am one step closer to my goal of once again being able to tag players with color. I uninstalled FTP with Revo and then cleared the leftover registry. When I reinstalled FTP, the pink color code on my name box was gone. :) However, I still can not color code the opponents. What should I try now? Could it be a laptop issue?

Thanks for the help

When you uninstalled FTP with revo did it remove the \username\appdata\local\fulltiltpoker folder that contains all your settings and notes?

I think so Fozzy because I cant find where it would be.

Id try contacting Full Tilt Support and see if they have an ideas as i havent come across something like this before

I did. They said there may be a software or hardware conflict on my system. They asked me to send them a DirectX report, so I did. They came to the conclusion that my graphics driver was out of date. So I went and updated it the best I could. Still had the issue, which led me here to the HEM forums because it started after that rush poker notes/stat merge/export.

If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory. How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

Thanks Morny. I have been playing around with it and found that the color code I set does not show up on the name box at the table, but it DOES show up in the lobby on the side window where it shows the players at that table and their chipstacks.

Fozzy, I opened the hidden files and did not see the note in there so I am assuming Revo deleted everything for me. What should be checked next from a client standpoint?

I don't know of anything else. Have you tried asking the FTP support? Chances are their CSR employees answering the email wont even understand the question though. :(

I have. The guy at FTP Support asked me for a DirectX report. I gave it to him and the only thing he could say was that my graphics driver was out of date. I updated it and still had the problem.
