Hi,

I want to purge a bunch of datamined hands but have a question about one thing.

What if I want to move my database to a new computer? (I would export all hands and reimport them on a different pc? or is there a export database function?)

Will I only be able to move the non purged hands to the 2nd computer?

Thanks

Hi,

If your doing a clean reinstall or moving HM to a new computer you should consider the following.

Export and Import your Hand Histories and/or backup and restore your database

Export Your Notes

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

Once you purge hands they no longer exist in the database so you cant export them

But I keep the stats right? So what I'm asking is, can I copy the database (with all the stats, and the non purged hands) and move it to a new computer?

I presume your talking about the purge method that removes the hand history but keeps the stats? If so im not sure if it will hold the stats, if you do backup and restore it should because your basically duplicating the database but if you do the export import method i would imagine it will lose the hands.

You can test by taking a small sample of those purged hands and export them and try and import them into a new database
