In this FAQ: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Hand Range Tool (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/159/Hand+Range+Tool)

Can someone explain what this means from the "How it Works" section - I just don't get it
"...Note: If you are really keen, you could make your own file and add it to the config\preflopranges folder..."

In the hand range tool, you can see there is a dropdown list for Preflop Rankings, if you select 3.8% for HU vs random, then select Skalanskys and move the slider to refresh it and back to 3.8% youll see it uses a different ranking system and the HU vs random includes 77 but Skalanskys doesnt. If you go to Holdem Manager\Config\PreflopRanges folder youll see the notepad file detailing those rankings, you could if you wanted specify your own ranking system

Thank you morny - obvious now that you've explained

What do you think of this revised note ?

Note: If you are really keen, you could make your own pre-flop ranking system in notepad and add it as a file in the Holdem Manager\Config\PreflopRanges folder. Your new ranking system will now be available in the preflop dropdown list
