I have window 7 pro x64 installed on my PC. When I try to install HM it fails at installing PostgreSQL. I've tried to install 8.3 version of Postgre and had errors also(something about initialization of database cluster). I've tried lot of things like enabling seclogon disabling antivirus software and other stuff. I think it something to do with PostgreSQL/data folder and privileges but I can't figure it out (I'm using built-in administrator account and i can't understand why there can be any problems with privileges).

UAC is disabled also

Do you have a previous 8.3 database, thats what the inistialise database cluster message is saying, untick "initialise database cluster" during the install step if you want to try and reconnect to the database or leave it ticked and delete all the files inside the C:/Porgram Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/Data folder and continue with installation

I delete every time old version before installing new one. I even delete registry entries and all folders.

Did you uninstall PostgreSQL or did you physically delete the contents of the C:/Porgram Files/PostgreSQL/8.3/Data folder?

I uninstall it from control panel first then delete folders and then I clean registry entries.

Please try this version PostgreSQL: Choose a Mirror (http://wwwmaster.postgresql.org/download/mirrors-ftp/binary/v8.2.13/win32/postgresql-8.2.13-1.zip)

Not sure, its telling you the data folder isnt empty but you said you deleted the files in it so its hard to know
