Hello,
I just moved to W7. I installed HEM (after some struggle with PostgreSQL, mind you). It works, but I have to activate it every time I launch it. I tried launching in Admin mode, no effect.

What can I do to not have to activate it every time ?

You registered the installation as PC#2 and it asks you again to activate it, but not register it?

Please try using our registration system to register your current/new license. Then you will be able to retrieve or reset your own license, as needed. Registration Home Page (http://www.holdemmanager.net/Registration/)

To get your current license from your running installation of HEM: Help > Show Serial Number

You will need to sign up, login, and then reset your code, then logout/login, to verify it was reset.

Once you reset it you can clear the code from your HM HELP > Registration > Clear HM or OM License Code.

Thank you for your answer, unfortunately it didn't work.

What I did:
- register (create an account) on the webpage you provided
- I can have 2 PCs with HEM on this account (I only need one). There were 2 lines activated on the page (I did multiple tries today, that's why I guess). I resetted them both.
- I went into HEM and started it 2 or 3 times to see if it asked for the serial again. Yes it did, every time :(

So I did this:
- I went into the registration of HEM, and cleared it
- I closed HEM
- I launched HEM, entered my serial
- I closed HEM
- I launched HEM - again it asks for the serial.

I never shared my code with anyone, the only thing that I did is that I switched from Vista (where it worked 100% perfect) to Seven.

Bottom line, it's a fail.

This is becoming tiring :(

Enable the options to see Hidden Files and System Protected Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/images/hidden.jpg

1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you can't find those files, DO NOT delete any other files with similar names.

Please send your Reg.log from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder to support@holdemmanager.com.

Thanks again for your answer. That did not work thought.

What I finally did was uninstall HEM, then reinstall it in its DEFAULT path. It worked (even if I got a lockup when it tied to connect to its DB...)

You might be interested in knowing that HEM (at least under Seven), installed under a path named "C:\#Games\#Poker\HEM", asks for its serial every time it launches.
