I'm thinking about the AF.

(times bet + times raised) / times called

Now, I've always heard that an AF can be high if someone folds a lot. However, I don't see a "times fold" in this equation. But, in thinking about it, it seems that the times called will go up and down directly proportionate to the times folded, so maybe that's the answer. However, wouldn't the times bet + times raised be impacted as well?

I'm just trying to get this all straight in my head. I've heard that one of the biggest differences between AFQ and AF is times folded. So, trying to get this straight.

Thanks.

I don't know anything about Aggression Frequency, but regarding Aggression Factor (AF)

First of all there are 5 possible actions by a player - not just the 4 you mention. In order of aggressiveness: Raise, Bet, Call, Check, Fold

SILLY EXAMPLES OF SAME AF TO TEST YOUR THEORY AGAINST:

in 100 post-flop actions player A does this:
Raise 13
Bet 35
Call 12
Check 20
Fold 20
AF = 4.0

in 100 post-flop actions player B does this:
Raise 6
Bet 58
Call 16
Check 12
Fold 8
AF = 4.0

in 100 post-flop actions player C does this:
Raise 0
Bet 4
Call 1
Check 25
Fold 70
AF = 4.0
