Hi there,

I have 2 problems with everest poker and HM.

1. The first one is that if i play on everest without HM i can just open any table i want. If i then start HM AND start the import, i cannot open tables anymore. If i try i get a run time error. I have to exit everestpoker and then restart it and all tables now open again. Only first 2 minutes or so you can open new tables as well, then i have same problem againL run time error if i open table

2. Sometimes and always only on one table, i dont get the stats. The hands are imported, as the window on the tables keeps refreching to the latest hand, only all stats for the players show nothing and saying 0 hand.

Hope anyone can help.
I use HM version 1.09.02.

Best regards,
Tooren

I have made the update, but problem 1 still occors.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? If vista/w7 have you checked to be sure that HM and your poker client always run as admin?

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Do the same for your poker client executable.

Is windows fully updated? Have you tried reinstalling your poker client or HM?

2 I havent seen jet, but i have played just 15 minutes so big chance this also will sometimes happen.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.

I already reinstalled everest.

One question: if i reinstall HM, does it has any impact on my database, or are these 2 other things?

No your database is completely separate, its stored in the postgreSQL folders

I now notice something else. I have HM at two places on my computer installed.

The one i use and always update is located at d:\poker\etc and i have another one at c:\program files\rvg software\holdem manager.

Could this maybe be the problem? And can i just delete one of these, or can i uninstall both with this program?
In your faq it also says that you should be an advanced user to use it, should this be a problem for me, as regular user?

Most likely you installed the update to the C drive by mistake as it installs to there by default, if your not comfortable just do an uninstall via the control panel instead

Never mind, first hurdle taken ;)

It seems error 1, the by far most common one, has been solved! Other also not seen so assumed this has gone too! Thanks a lot for the help!
