backup and restore database

hello i have new computer and i want to move my HEM database to the new one, i checked FAQ so i founded have to do it, but backup an restore my database will be problem for me and there is note only for advanced pc users and im not, i would like to ask if i have to backup and restore my database?

Hi Targus

I think I've got a laptop case that belongs to you

If you are not happy to backup/restore your DB then don't do it
You say that you have looked in the FAQ so you will know how to export & import hands
You just have to put the exported hands onto a flashdrive, CD/DVD etc & load onto your new PC

Also there are free places on the www to store info. You could upload them in a compressed form & download onto your new PC. That way you would also have your hands safe in case a space rock hits your home :)

For uploading/downloading you can use 'Free Download Manager' (google it) which you can get from CNET etc

Make sure you only use a trusted, reliable site for free software downloads to avoid malware or worse
