Hi Prefetch isnt working yet on full tilt, they made a change that prevented us getting the info the old way so a new solution has to be found, were working on it

Does this mean the hud doesnt work on the rush tables? I'm not getting anything to come up on the table even after sitting for a while.

We have a Rush HUD. You need to make sure you are not using any modified player basepod images.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

0) Make sure the FTP Lobby > Languages > Language Options are set to English.

1) The tables need to be sized appropriately. (600 - 750 range) If your Rush table is outside of that range a pop-up message in the HUD window will advise you.

2) Make sure your HUD doesn't overlap names on the table. We're using a screen scrape method for various reasons and the names must be visible so we can read them.

3) Most performance issues can be resolved by changing the table window size even by a small amount.See #1 and make sure you have the rush update installed http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdateRush.exe

4) See this post for a update if you wish to get better performance from the RUSH HUD
http://forums.holdemmanager.com/127379-post119.html

5) Test the Hud out on a normal table first to verify its working

6) Dont use any Aero or other windows themes, change it to the default xp/vistawin7 theme

XP Windows XP: Use Windows XP in "Classic view" (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/personalize/classic.mspx)
Vista Change the desktop theme (http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsvista/theme.aspx)
Win7
Windows 7 Switching Desktop Themes in Windows 7: Changing the Windows Aero Theme With Two Easy Methods (http://pc-tutorials.suite101.com/article.cfm/switching_desktop_themes_in_windows_7)

7) Turn Cleartype Off
Vista How to Turn Off ClearType in Windows Vista (http://www.i4u.com/article7805.html)
Windows 7 Turn Off ClearType — MAXIMUMpcguides – Windows 7 tips, tricks, help, and how-to guides (http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-7/turn-off-cleartype/)

8) Turn Avatars off in Full Tilt go to Options and untick Avatars

9) Switch between Classic and Racetrack in FT by going to Options > Table View

10) If you are using graphics mods you need to restore the default FTP graphics.

FTP Graphics Restore (http://www.fozzypokermods.com/ftprestore.html)

You should be able to use the Selective Restore Package and install the BasePods Classic and BasePods RaceTrack so that HMHUD can properly read the names from the basepod. The area around the player name text must be the default colors of Black or White.

11) Reduce number of tables

12) Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Please try another table than Zoom, this name is used twice for the Rush tables. I think we have a problem with him.

BTW: you can delete one of the duplicate RVG Software.... folders in your auto-import configuration

Hey netsrak,

so do u have to add the name of the rush table in the programm code in order for hud to work? In this case did u already added the new omaha 8 rush table Lickety Split ? Cause importing works but i don't have a hud, it only shows up when i sit out, seems similar to netbooms problem.

Well have this fixed soon, basically well update a file on our server when theres a new table and it will automatically work without having to download a new patch etc

In the meantime Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
then replace the FTPRushTables.xml with the one attached and restart HM youll find it at C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager/Config folder

We do not show the Hero HUD on Rush tables by design.

Why is that? Is there a way to change it? I think it would be helpful to be self policing. Otherwise, I keep the stats window on FTP open.

Because HM usually shows the session stats by design but due to the different method we use for Rush Hud this is quite difficult. The vast majority for people will be very aware of what there hud stats are as after youve been playing a while your stats rarely change even by 1 during a session due to the sample size

There are several users who would like to see thier Rush session stats. Here are nine posts in which it is discussed:

http://forums.holdemmanager.com/132693-post313.html

Even though there is some disagreement on exactly how it should work, all of those posts above are from people who want to see this feature. I personally would prefer it if the stats were shown when we choose to "Sit Out Next Hand," but several other users want the stats to show at all times. But despite this disagreement on a detail, we all would like to see our own session stats.

but due to the different method we use for Rush Hud this is quite difficult

It is unfortunate that this is difficult to do. However, I recall that before the Rush HUD was fully implemented, when we were still using the export-to-notes feature, whenever we stopped playing via "Sit Out Next Hand," we would see the session stats show up for the Rush session. It was a left-over from how the HUD had functioned prior to rush poker. Is it not possible to have that same effect brought back? In other words, if the HUD session stats were showing up when we sat out before, then it seems like it might be easy to just duplicate that same behavior in the software once again.

Sorry i wasnt very clear, im saying most people know there overall stats, im not talking about session stats, obviously session stats are quite useful because they give us an idea of our image on the table and that can vary quite a bit from table to table, you can suggest this in the new suggestions forum if youd like it added Suggestions Forums - Holdem Manager Forums (http://forums.holdemmanager.com/suggestions-forums/) but read the sticky in that forum first

I've noticed more and more comments like this of late and I have to admit it's a disturbing trend.

You're asking the user base to request something that should already be in HM. The HM HUD provides hero session stats every time hero sits down and plays poker. This feature is integral to the software and is a strong selling point for the program, LDO.

At a Rush table, the HUD does not provide hero stats. Only at Rush tables does the HUD not provide hero stats. In other words, HM is failing to do what it was designed to do and what RVG advertises it will do. I fully understand that Rush may introduce programing difficulties for RVG, but that's not our (the users) problem and it should not be up to us to suggest such a standard feature as a 'new capability'.

The argument that hero should 'know what their stats are' is starting to wear a little thin also.
