Its a postgresql database, did you do a backup before the format?

Or you import all the old hands from the archive (default c:\hmarchive)

I didn't do a backup file when I formatted my PC.

At the moment I don't have an access to the DB, is it online?

No, your DB is not online. It is your responsibility to backup your \HMArchive and database in case you ever need to restore or reimport it. If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney summaries.

You have the \PostgreSQL\8.3\data folder?

If so, you can follow these instructions. Make sure you use the same version of postgresql and follow the steps carefully.
