For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

I can't seem to find where the HEM installation directory is located.

should be C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager/Config folder unless you chose another folder, just search for holdemmanager and youll find it.

C:/Program Files (x86)/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager

if you have a 64 bit OS.

ok i found it and everything. I tried to right click the "holdemmanager" folder but there is no "executable" tab or anything for me to run as an admin.

You need to right-click the holdemmanager.config FILE, not the folder which contains the file.

still no executable tab, I am running on windows 7 if that helps at all.

You need to click an executable file and then go to the Compatability tab.

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe
