I just put HEM on my new laptop that runs windows 7 and after I imported my first session of 17 sng's it has only my loses recorded and just isn't working correctly. Also, the HUD is messed up and like all the names and stats for players are placed in different seats at every table so I can't use it either. Little help please :)

<a href="http://s962.photobucket.com/albums/ae107/alloyd709/?action=view&current=HEMmessedupgraph.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/ae107/alloyd709/HEMmessedupgraph.png" border="0" alt="HEM messed up"></a>

I should be up like $100ish this session of 17 games but it obviously isn't showing my winning sng's. My friend is having the same issue....

You MUST import the tourney results at stars for all tourneys.

The thing is HM can easily calculate the correct winnings and placings if its a sng where all the players are at the same table. However with MTTs basically and 2+ table tournaments HM has no way of knowing whether there is 10 people in the tournament or 10,000 so without this info HM cant workout your position or payout or if the tournament is complete. You can manually edit or also you can request summaries which detail the total people in a tournie, the payout positions and your finishing place, if you import this into HM it will update the results for you but not all site give summaries.

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars does not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive, like FTP does.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Summaries.

Then later, you want to import the summaries on a regular basis:

Pokerstars > Lobby > Requests > Tournament History .. > 200

Then you have to create a text file, from the email, to import to HM.

"You MUST import the tourney results at stars for all tourneys."

what do you mean AT stars? this doesnt make sense to me.

I have my instant HHs imported to a folder on my hard drive by going to options->instant hand history options-> and have them imported into my HEM folder I already set up that is connected to my auto import folder. I only played 9man sngs, so that shouldnt be the issue. everything is set up the same just as I did on my last computer, so still unsure on the problem. The issue isn't that I have emailed HH's that arent working, its that the HH files that stars puts on my hard drive thought the instant HH options are not importing the full results. can you make it a bit clearer or maybe hop on skype for 2 seconds to explain it to me. something is being lost in translation here.....

also how can i edit it so this last 17 sngs that are in my posted graph are no longer in my HEM? thanks man!

also there is still the issue with the HUD where it never has the correct placing on the table, they are all at random places and never on the correct player. When i move them around it doesnt help because at other tables they are all different. Like i'll the hud of the player to my left will be "joesmoe" and the actual player at my table is someone else.

"You MUST import the tourney results at stars for all tourneys."

Full Tilt writes the summary files to your hard drive. Pokerstars does not so you must request them and import them, for any/all tourneys.

You must import the tournament histories, even for 9man sng's, at Pokerstars. Tournament Histories (aka Summaries or Results) are NOT the same thing as Hand Histories. HM can not know how you finished if you dont import the results or manually edit them.

Not sure how I can make it any more clear. You need to request all of the tournament results and import those, as I explained above.

Sorry, I do not give out my IM names to customers.

tourney > results > dataview

ctrl + click or shift + click them and right-click + delete

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt.
4) configure your poker client preferred seating and seating preferences in HM accordingly
5) Setup HUD pre-fetch: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=29) (if on stars or ftp)
6) open one cash Table and adjust the HUD while observing. Move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions.
7) Then sit and play at least one hand so you can make sure the hero hud is positioned properly.
8) Table manager -> File -> Save positions
9) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.

You have to request the results from the lobby, create a text file using notepad++, and import the results.

I asked stars and they said they are unable to send me tournament summaries. So does that mean i have nothing to do with all my sng data ( HHs ), i let them send me, for my HEM in new laptop. I imported hands to my hem but it only shows losses equal to buy-ins - is there anything to do to see my complete data and right graph..

Ask the support again. Usually they can send you summaries - it seems to depend on the support person.

But WHY Holdem Manger doesn't import any prizepool or money situation by MTT but just from single SIT?

Is not still possible to overhaul this bug and to read again all HH ?

ty. i asked them and they sent me. BUT i made a txt file from them and imported to my HEM but it does nothing, graph is still going only down. I havent imported all my HH-s, but only few files ( around 1k sng-s ), but i think that cant be an issue here. Maybe im doing something wrong.

We do, and always have. You had to manually request the summaries in the past. They now write them to your hard drive.

options > tournament history

You have to import the hands before you can import the summaries. If after importing your hands and then the tourney results, if you still have errors, send us the hands/summaries via email to test.

The terminology is apparently different for full tilt support and stars support. We often call them tourney summaries or results, but in the pokerstars menu it is 'tournament histories' not summaries or results.

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Results.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament histories/summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

ok, got it done- the key was to put .htm to end of the file name. Still it doesnt show stars red EV line, is it common or is there something still wrong ?

The EV is only valid for single table SnGs.

I think we need to look into it.

Please zip and mail the original handhistory files (you find them in the HM archive folder or in the handhistory folder of your poker client) together with a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.net. We will then try to reproduce the problem.
