-9 Purge hand histories (It will free up disk space without losing stats, but you lose the option to see the HH or view the hand in the replayer)

looking for an estimate of how much space is freed up per 100k hands purged

100k hands? Nearly nothing - possibly some megabytes but that doesn't really count i guess.

TY glad i didnt go ahead and purge for no benefit

How can i find out how many hands i have btw (i cant get it to load "all hands" because it runs out of memory and crashes)

put this query into pgAdmin III & press F5 on your keyboard:

Select Count(*) from pokerhands

You can save this query in pgAdmin III under the 'Favourites' menu for using again anytime
