Hi guys,

i cant update to pro version.
this is wat he says;

"an error occured while trying to clear the serial code. To manually clear the code do the following.

1 click on your vista logo in the bottom left and go to Windows control panel-folder options.
2 click view tab

3 uncheck the "hide protection system files"an check the "show hidden files"and then press ok.

4 look in your Holdem manager folder and you should see a file named holdemmanager.exe.lda-delete this file.

5 relaunch holdem manager and you should be able to enter in your new serial code.

ive tried this all but cant find that file.

And i dont have vista i have windows 7 ...

Its the same procedure for Vista/Windows 7.

hmm its obviously not the same still cant find it, see the attachment but it doesn't says the same things it is in dutch but its not the same

It is the same on W7 as Vista. In the English Windows version there is just one new option in between them to 'Hide Empty Drives/Partitions'. You need to Show Hidden Files and NOT [ ] Hide Protected operating System Files.


Enable the options to see Hidden Files and System Protected Files:

If you cant compare this to the Dutch version I suggest you change your Windows Control Panel > Regional and Language Settings to English (USA) and restart your computer.

1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you can't find those files, DO NOT delete any other files with similar names.


If that didn't work, try this:

1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a file called LicDebug.txt
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete LicDebug.txt and restart Hold'em Manager.
