Hello,

I bought HM software and have some questions.

For example lets take player with these stats:
vpip/pfr/steal/3bet
agg.factor post flop/flop cb/flop fold to cb/hands

10/7/24/1.6
2.3/90/0/522

So what is this player?
Tight aggressive, because he plays only 10% hands and almost everytime cbet?

Second question is about hud popup because I don't understand it at all...
Lets take VPIP popup:
http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/909/vpip.jpg

1. As Hud says he played 10% of his 522 hands, so he played total 52 Hands.
So from this image: He put money in the pot preflop in CO/BTN position 2+3=5 hands. And in Blinds he put money in the pot preflop 18+1+20=39 hands. So total we have 44 hands. So VPIP is not 10%.. Where I'm wrong?

2. And what these (63)(32)(1), (38)(54)(38)(2), (7)(61)(56)(5) mean?

3. And what these % mean? if we sum all percents so its: 5+4+3+26+12+14+8+1=73% So it should be total 100%?

4. EP/MP column is zeros (0) so this player didn't put any money in pot preflop in EM/MP positions? So why there is 5,4,3,0% ?

Now PFR popup:
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/1806/pfrj.jpg

5. So this player raised preflop total 7%. So it's 7% of total hands (522) or 7% of VPIP (10%) ?

6. In EP he raised preflop 4%? so it's 4% of total preflop raise (7%) or 4% of total hands (522) or 4% of VPIP (10%)?
So why in BTN here is 10%? So 10% of total 7%?

7. What mean PFR in BTN position 10%(67)? 10% of 67 hands? What is 67? from where we take it?

8. I remember that long time ago in school we were learned that total percentage should be 100. Here in popup stats it seams this rule doesn't apply :) If we sum all PFR line percents we won't get 100%. If we sum "Total" column we still wouldn't get 100%. So I don't understands from where these percents came. It seems that they are separate from each other and doesn't have anything in common.

It would be great if someone could answer to my questions.
I read FAQ with definitions but it doesn't explain these percentages..

Thanks.

I am not familiar with the first popup, but I can answer your questions about the second popup.

5. So this player raised preflop total 7%. So it's 7% of total hands (522) or 7% of VPIP (10%) ?

It is 7% of total hands.

6. In EP he raised preflop 4%? so it's 4% of total preflop raise (7%) or 4% of total hands (522) or 4% of VPIP (10%)?
So why in BTN here is 10%? So 10% of total 7%?

His EP VPIP is 4% the hands that he was dealt when he was in EP. For example, if he is on the button and is dealt a hand, it does not matter what he does, his EP VPIP will remain unchanged.

The 10% for BTN means 10% of the hands dealt to him when he was on the button. It is 10% of 67 (not 10% of 7%).

7. What mean PFR in BTN position 10%(67)? 10% of 67 hands? What is 67? from where we take it?

Yes, 10% of 67 hands. 67 hands is the sample size for the BTN position. This player has been dealt cards when sitting on the BTN 67 times.

The stats in this popup do not add to 100% because each one is measuring a different stat for a different position.

Here are three stats that will add up to 100%:
Fold to 3B
Call 3B
4-Bet

Two of them are in the above popup, Fold to 3B 60%, and 4-bet 20%. Therefore, if you were to put the third stat into the popup, add Call 3B, it would show 20%. Note that they have the same sample size of (5).

1) Using the position report might narrow it down, please post a screenshot of that

2) If the sample size is less than 100 then it shows the number in brackets. Note its the time that the particular stat was possible so if it was a 3bet stat and he was facing a 4bet then its ignored since its not possible to 3bet then.

3) Like in question 2 its from where that was possible so the % wont neccessarily add up

4) The 1st number is the % he called and the 2nd number is the % he raised
