I would like to have my HEM DB's on my laptop and desktop synchronized and was wondering what is the best way to achieve this?

Are there any tools for something like that (that run on windows)?

I usually play on my desktop but when I am playing outside of my place I'm using the laptop and would like to have them share the DB.

Could that be arranged with a simple folder synchronisation of the postgres data folder? Would copying over the data folder from say the desktop to the laptop work or would that make problems because postgres is constantly running in the background?

I know I could export the hand histories n shit but thats quite annoying to do every time I wanna synch the DB.. a folder sync or some other solutions would be alot better.

Hope anyone knows how to do that, I'm sure that I'm not the only one interested in this. I searched the forum and also the web a bit but couldnt find any good answers on this topic yet...

Synchronizing the postgres data folder won't work.
Look into synchronizing the Archive folders, add PC#1 Archive folder--> as an import folder on PC#2 (and vice versa)
