Postgres wont install...

Been trying to install HEM on 2 computers and both times it has said installation failed because postgres wouldn't install... however I have been able to open HEM and its started importing my hands :S

Any advice?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? The hands import properly (no errors?) and you can find your played hands in the HM DB?

If you go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall Programs: do you see PostgreSQL 8.4 or 8.3 listed?

What if you go to Start > Search > Services: Do you see one of the PostgreSQL services listed?

So far it seems hands are importing ok, no error messages at all.

Im running windows vista with kaspersky. And both postgres 8.3 and 8.4 are in the programmes section.

Did you have Postgresql installed previously?
As long as everything is running its fine...
