HEM not dispaying text

I'm not sure if this is a common problem but I couldn't find any info on it anywhere. I'm using Windows 7 and am having a problem where only the menu text is showing up. Kind of hard to explain so I'll attach a pic.
I'm running all exe's in admin mode, downloaded the newest final and beta updates and have tried disabling UAC but no dice.
Any ideas?

Make sure your DPI Scaling is on Normal (96 or 100%)
