Please download and install postgresql 8.4 from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org).
If that doesn't work try 8.3 from the same source.

Well... did all that and downloaded the 8.4 version. However the following message appears during installing:

Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly
The database cluster initialisation failed.

and When I tried the Holdem Manager the following appears:

A connection to PostgreSQL could not be made. Would you like to have Holdem Manager attempt to start the service?

When I hit "yes" it says it canīt.

Tried to download the 8.3 version but couldnt found anywhre ...
What do I do now?

Ok. So reading all I could (and doing what I know, cause my computer skills are not vast) I read somewhere here that 99% of the problems with PostGre were related to security software.

-So UAC was disabled

- I disabled Windows Firewall

- Uninstalled Norton 360

And Uninstalled AND removed HM and Postgre files. Re-initiated my PC and tried Combo Installer

IT DID NOT WORK!!!

I'm exhausted, been working on this for several hours and only slept 3 hours last night.

CAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER ME?

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete
4) reboot.
5) Install PostgreSQL 8.3.9 from this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Postgres_8.3.9-v1.0.7.exe

If that fails, try this version:

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete
4) reboot.
5) Download and UnZip this file to a new folder. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/postgresql.zip
6) Then run the postgresql-8.3.msi file and follow these instructions - FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Reinstall PostgreSQL (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/70/Reinstall+PostgreSQL)
