I recently did a reinstall and decided to start from scratch with HEM, including a brand new installation of hem and postgres, and a brand new database. I configured it a few days ago and got it working and importing on the sites I wanted.
Today when I started HEM an error came up that it failed to establish a connection to 127.0.0.1. I tried reinstalling postgres but got the same error. It then takes me to the database control panel and it keeps telling me that a connection could not be made and that HEM failed to start the service.
When I log into pgadmin it keeps popping up with a help box about the server not listening.
The only thing that's changed since last running HEM is that a malware checker "repaired" winsock and I lost internet connectivity and had to do a system restore to about 24 hours earlier (which was still after I had been successfully using HEM).
My firewall is turned OFF.
edit: I'm happy wiping it and starting over, as I said, it's a new database anyway. I just really want to get it up and running for tonight's session! Thanks.
