Hi, i had lots of troubles running HM because i had installed before other tracking soft using postgres. After a week taking with the support, the solution was unistalling everything and installing the HM combo. Everything worked just fine then.

Now i want to vaccum and analyze the database. I follow every step up to the postgres password... i do not know which it is.
The combo applies a standard password? is there any way to recover it?

Thank you very much, the soft works perfectly right now, but i know i will be having trouble in the future if i dont fix this now

PT3's default name/password is - postgres/dbpass
HM's default name/password is - postgres/postgrespass

If that doesnt help:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\data, move the the pg_hba file to your Desktop and open it with notepad.
2. Scroll to the bottom and change all md5 to trust. Save and close the file
3. Move the file back to the data folder
4. Restart the PostgreSQL service: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

HM will accept any password now.

- Defrag last and make sure you stop the postgresql service before you defrag. I personally use Smart Defrag.
- Do a Cold Boot (Shut Down > Start) before you use HM again
