PKR hud crashes

i am using 1.10.03b windows xp

for PKR, when the hud appeared i was rearranging the position of the stats when the table manager crashed

every time i restarted the hud appeared and then immediately crashed giving the message "assertion failed, file \mytable.cpp, line 933, expression 0"

first time i tried HM with PKR

any ideas?

Reboot, and run the installer first thing.

If you still get the error, try downgrading and see if the error goes away - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/23748-1-10-03b-official-release.html#post130916


If that doesn't help we may want to take a closer look or try a clean reinstall using revo.

I would suggest a clean reinstall:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files.
2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs, Solve uninstall problems (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

no only PKR. i've played on stars and that still works fine


should i still go ahead with the uninstall?

The Hud for PKR is not fully functional - you should use the "Active player detail window" instead.

oh. i got the impression from other threads that the HUD was working for PKR

Is there a way to disable the HUD for PKR?

It crashes completely which is annoying when you're multisiteing..

Does it crash immediately or do you have time to un-check the PKR table name from the Table Manager window?

Same problem here. Hud crashes immediately (Microsoft Visul C++; Assertion failed; MyTabel.cpp Line: 933), cant uncheck it.

Hud works with cash game at PKR but not SnG and MTT.

I find it crashes because it leaves pointers to tables that no longer exist, I think most are STTs. For some reason, if you mix STTs & cash then old STTs tables can be left listed in the table manager window. I find the only way to clear them is to shutdown PKR and HEM then restart HEM and open up table manager before starting PKR again. I haven't as yet found a reset / clear tables in table manager, possibly the references may exist in registry or config files but haven't looked.
