View Full Version : Move postgreSQL to another drive

Hi

My postgreSQL is getting too big for my harddrive, can anyone tell me how i move my database + postgreSQL to another drive?

Im really newbie to this, so please "make it easy" on me

--> When i try to export hands from the database control panel, it tells me that it cant be done because i have no space left.

(i have cleanet out everything i didnt need)

Can i get it to Export to another drive ? or whats my action from here ?

Youll need to backup your config folder and reinstall HM on the new drive then it will export or if you go to your PostgreSQL folder in the data folder there is a pg_log folder. If theres any files in there you can delete those and that should save alot of space and the last alternative is to uninstall unneccessary programs via Add and Remove Programs in the Control Panel
