manager not importing hand histories

I started up a ring game and clicked auto import from the HEM menu. after a few hands played HEM still did not import any of the hands and the hud did not appear. I have selected the correct folder to import hand histories from and everything but it still doesn't work. I'm running windows 7 and looked at the thread about configuring it but didn't understand what they meant by 'windows explorer' or any of that. Help?

Can you quote the exact step that you didnt understand, not sure what part you mean.
