Hello,
My HM DB is getting nice and big ;-)
Doing Vacume and Index at least 2wice a week.
Injecting at least 80k hands a day in HM, + played games.
I have 80k players in my DB.

Since yesterday, when i whant to run "Default Stats" Report in Players tab with Min hands = 20, VP = 35 to 100 (to get my custom fish list to inject in buddys of TS) and this on all Stack size (NL 2 to NL50), i get an time out error.
See attachement 1, first error.
Attachement 2, second error when clic OK

Any idear ?

My computer is slow (Asus Eepc 1101AH), is this the possible problem ?
Do i have to do what is recommended in message ?

Thx in advance

Hi,
Did apply all tips i can apply on my laptop several weeks ago.
This problem is new, since yesterday that i have now more than 80k players in DB.

Did an other test :
VPIP 0 to 100
Hands 8k minimum.

This one gives a result ...

Hummm

Can you post a screenshot showing the complete filters section and well try and reproduce after you install the latest version (1.10.02): http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Do the vacuum/analyse/reindex again. Every week if necessary.

Hi,
I purge observed hands with non showdown. Then vacume/index. than Defrag.
I do this evey 2 days.

I have an other question/
Is it better to vacume/index or backup/restore ?

I read that backup/restore gets DB smaller than vacume/index
What do u advise for users that injects 80k hands / day on a small computer.

Thx

80 K hands per day? -> buy a fast computer

Backup/restore is a better process for optimizing the database but it takes more time

Yes, i planed to buy one, but no $ for now ;-)

Does Backup/restore do a vacume and reindex ?
Meening : do i need to vacume index befaure backup ? (i think no ...)

Will test.

Thx

No, doesnt really matter if you do it before or after, if you do it before when you restore it then it will be already vacummed and index

OK, so i have still to do the vacume/index part before backup restore.
Will do this every WE.
Thx
