When I try to install framework 3.5 SP1 with windows installer (latest version) I get this error: [02/16/10,14:41:30] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0SP1 (CBS) is not installed.

I have framework 2.0 SP2 and framework 3.0 WITHOUT SP1 integrated to my windows vista ultimate 32-bit and I think its impossible to delete/repair them (tried with .net framework cleanup tool with no success).

When i try to install framework 3.5 SP1 with windows update i get error CODE: 800F0900

System update readiness tool log shows no errors.

Tried also microsoft fix it 50202 with no success.

I can install framework 3.5 WITHOUT SP1 and framework 4 on my computer without problems but HEM doesnt work with them.

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Download and run this uninstaller - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dot...eanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...dotnetfx35.exe

Taken straight from the cleanup tool readme file: Vista or Windows Server 2008 will not offer the option to clean up the .NET Framework 2.0 or the .NET Framework 3.0.

So I am stuck with framework 3.0 WITHOUT SP1 and accoording to windows installer message on my previous post I'd need framework 3.0 WITH SP1 to install framework 3.5 with SP1

Update VISTA to Vista Service Pack 2.
VISTA SP2 should have .Net Framework 3.5 + SP1 integrated.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Whenever I try to install vista SP2 I get the error code: 0x800F0900.

I've been stuck with vista SP1 for a long time cause I havent found an answer to the problem.

If you know a solution I'd be very thankful.

Meanwhile i've rolled back the previous hold em manager version.. too bad it doesnt work properly on iPoker where I mostly play.

Thank you in advance.

Is this a legal version of Vista you have?
If YES...: reinstall VISTA...
If NO...: just install Windows 7... or Vista that DOES have Service Pack 2 integrated.
